Our Values
School Christian Values
Fleckney C of E Primary School is a Church of England school where children, inspired by our Christian Values, learn together to be the best that they can be. Through compassion, respect, responsibility, community, fairness and aspiration they learn that they are unique and valued and to celebrate the value and uniqueness of others. Our school aims to create an environment where each child can grow academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally.
Our Values and their meanings
All stakeholders in our school community (children, teaching staff, support staff, governors and parents) have had an input into our school values. The values have been carefully chosen to represent our school with the aim to support children in being good citizens.

Our Christian School Vision and Values
Our school vision is to provide an inspirational environment, where each child will develop mentally, spiritually and physically.
"Together we make learning an adventure"
Our values are the things we believe in. They are a set of tools we carry with us all our lives that guide our actions. Compassion
• Have sympathy for those who are less fortunate and empathise with those around us.
Romans 12:15 - Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Fairness
• Treat others as you would want to be treated
We are all equal Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Luke 6:13 - Do to others as you would have them do to you.
Responsibility
• We should be ready to try and try again Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people. • If we want to be great, we will serve others, rather than want to be served. Mark 9:35
Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be first must place himself last of all and be the servant of all.”
Respect
• We give honour to whom it is due 1 Peter 3:8 - have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Romans 13:7 - Give everyone what you owe them. If you owe them any kind of tax, then pay it. Show respect to those you should respect and show honour to those you should honour.
Community
• Friends and family give strength Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 - Two people are better than one. When two people work together, they get more work done. If one person falls, the other person can reach out to help. But those who are alone when they fall have no one to help them. Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I amongst them.
Aspiration
We strive to Be the Best that We can Be. We put our faith in God who gives us hope for our future Jeremiah 29:11 – "For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, plans to prosper you plans to give you hope and a future".
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. • God gives us the strength to achieve Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
